October 13, 2022 — Westchester Residential Opportunities hosted a Symposium on October 13, 2022 at the White Plains Public Library in honor of its founder Nick Beilenson.
The topic was “Affordable Housing is Fair Housing.” WRO Executive Director Marlene Zarfes introduced the presentation and Mayor Tom Roach and County Executive George Latimer each gave welcoming remarks. Then Bryan Greene, Vice President for Policy Advocacy at the National Association of REALTORS, offered the Keynote and then moderated a panel of experts: Nadya Salcedo, Director of the Fair and Equitable Housing Office for New York State Homes & Community Renewal; Blanca Lopez, Deputy Commissioner of Planning for Westchester County; and Tim Foley, CEO of the Building and Realty Institute.
