Supported Housing Program

The Supported Housing Program consists of Scattered Site apartments located in various communities throughout Westchester County. This program is designed for individuals who are able to live independently in the community with case management support.

Single Room Occupancy Program

Single Room Occupancy (more commonly SRO, sometimes called a single resident community) is a form of housing in which one or two people are housed in individual rooms (sometimes two rooms, or two rooms with a bathroom or half bathroom) within a multiple-tenant building. SRO residents require more one-on-one services , therefore the SRO is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Placement in WRO’s apartments or rooming house is made through Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health’s Single Point of Access admission process (“SPOA”).
