Nick Beilenson Legacy Fund

Nick Beilenson founded Westchester Residential Opportunities, Inc. in 1968 and led WRO until his death in February 2022. With his vision and following his example, for more than fifty years WRO has championed the expansion of non-discriminatory housing for low- and moderate-income households, minorities, senior citizens and persons living with mental illness.

The Nick Beilenson Legacy Fund, created with a foundational donation from Nick’s family, will be used as directed by the Board of Directors to support WRO’s operations during the next ten to fifteen years, thereby helping to sustain the organization into the future.
