It is with great sadness that the Board and Staff of WRO reflect on the passing of Joseph A. DiSalvo, Esq., a WRO board member for nearly 40 years. Joe joined WRO as a director in 1984 and was a trusted advisor in all matters before the Board. He was deeply involved in WRO’s fair housing program, including serving on WRO’s Fair Housing & Diversity Advisory Committee.
Joe had an unending passion for community service. In addition to his day job as a partner in his Bronxville-based law firm Nobile, Magarian & DiSalvo, LLP and his service on the Board of WRO, he was Village Justice in his home town of Hastings-on-Hudson, and served on the boards of St. John’s Riverside Hospital, The Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation and The Sharing Community, and in various leadership positions at St. Matthew/Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Our condolences go out to his wife Joanne and the entire DiSalvo family.
